Their Voice...
2020 brought much civil unrest to Americans with many groups fighting to be heard. The political indignation, the rise of unemployment, the killing of George Floyd by a police officer, and a contagious global virus that claimed the lives of over 500,000 souls, turned and polarized many families and neighbors against each other—where voting for the next president became a challenge. It was also a time people made sure their voices were heard recording the highest voter turnout since the 1900.
Mr. Floyd was killed after being pinned and choked for 8 minutes and 46 seconds by officer Chauvin in an action captured on video, touching off global outrage. Police and National guard were called to respond to large crowds of white and black protesters.
